Alfred Pace

Mr. Pace is co-founder and Vice-Chairman of Pacific Urban Investors, a subsidiary of Marcus & Millichap Companies. He is a graduate of the University of San Francisco and a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Mr. Pace spent fourteen years with multifamily pension fund advisor SSR Realty Advisors (now BlackRock) and its predecessor configurations (Fox, Metric, etc) culminating in the position of Managing Director, National Acquisitions. Pension advisory clients included CalPERS, CalSTRS, the Alaska Permanent Fund, City and County of San Francisco, Colorado PERA and others. Since 1986, Mr. Pace has been both an investment advisor and principal in the acquisition of apartment communities totaling more than 32,000 units and $8.5 billion dollars. Mr. Pace is a thirty-year member and Executive Director of the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC), actively engaged in issues impacting the multifamily industry. In addition, Mr. Pace sits on the Multifamily Blue Council of the Urban Land Institute.
